9/20/2010

Shawn is 35 weeks pregnant, she is getting uncomfortable and Baby Brayden is getting big. Dr is looking to see how big he is in a couple more weeks and may induce early so she doesn't birth a toddler!! ;) I just cannot wait to meet him at all, SO excited! :)

My brother and sister in law fly in from CA on Wednesday and will be here through Sunday morning, can't wait!! Miss and love them SO much.

Thursday 9/23 is my meeting with Dr. Fisseha @ U of M Center for Reproductive Medicine!! I am really excited about this appt to see what the future hold for our family!! I just hope to not be let down again as I was in Toledo. After that appt we're having family dinner with the WHOLE fam in Toledo @ El Vacaro....YUM-O!! :)

Friday 9/24 I'm getting hair extensions put in at 10am (sooooo pumpmed).....I figure I'm all about making my self feel and look better at this point, I'm allowed, right?! Then we have family pics (the last ones we had taken were in 1997) in Adrian taken by Ronda & Jesse Winans....LOVE them!! So, I guess I hope the hair turns out!! :)

Today 9/20 I had a Gastroscopy in hopes of finding out why I keep having this intermittent abd pain, constant nausea, intermittent low grade temps, fatigue, and just feeling like crap. Of course everything has turned out normal which does not help. He took biopsies too to check for H. Pylori and who knows what else. I should find out those results by Thursday 9/23. I guess now my focus will be on starting a family and making myself healthier!!

A lot going on in the next few weeks, lots of babies to be born and can't wait to meet them all. At least now I have more of a peace meeting all these new babies even though I haven't gotten to meet my own, I still get to be a part of so many little one's lives!! :)

God Bless!! :)

  3. Biopsies came back negative! Good thing, but doesn't help as to why I still feel abd pain/nausea all the time. But, Dr called back yesterday and said he wants me to stop taking either prilosec or zantac (1 of the 2). He thinks that me taking both of them twice a day could actually be causing the abd pain/nausea....who woulda thunk? So, we'll give it a week or 2 and see if it helps. Wouldn't that be crazy!!

Chris & Jenny flew in yesterday, had a fun family night at my sister's house, some more today, followed by my A2 appt and family dinner this evening!! Hair extensions tomorrow! I am SO excited, then family pics tomorrow night!! Sheesh...this is a busy few days!!

Shawnee is almost 36 weeks. I know you're in there Brayden...aunt lissa can't wait to meet you!! :)

  5. Sorry Casey, I am not very good at this whole keeping up with the blog thing. My appt went really well. The Dr's and nurse were supernice and thorough and understanding. Total difference from that last place. :)

They actually did more lab testing (which I didn't know there was any more to test), and I also have an 8 dpo progesterone to get drawn tomorrow, Tim has to do his thing, and I have a sonohystogram scheduled for 10/14. This is just to be sure all bases are covered. When she does the sonogram, she's also gonna look at my eggs, which no-one ever has, so that'll be good!

Once all the results come back, if nothing has happened by the end of October....once my cycle starts in November, we will start pills for 3 months. If nothing has happened by those 3 months, we will add injections starting in February...but hopefully we won't have to worry about that! :)

So, thank you for checking in and reminding me to do this, it helps me to share it as much as people enjoy keeping up with it!!

    :)

  7. yes, this is exciting! I sure hope that this works for you. I also have had stomach symptoms and have been tested for different things, including h. pylori. I just chalk it up to stress. How did you 8dpo test go?

  8. Thanks Sunshine! Well, ironically enough my mom told me to take milk out of my diet and to try soy milk instead. As a baby/child I drank soy because I would always vomit when I drank milk. Could it have been dormant and now come back with a vengence? I'm trying it out...this is only day 2. As far as my 8dpo...I didn't call to ask the results, I go in on the 14th for the sonohystogram, so I'll ask them then! AF is around the corner, probably tomorrow, today is day 28, which means tomorrow I should start. Kinda used to the signs and symptoms, so I assume tomorrow to be day 1 again. But, at least it's regular and will get me to the next part of testing, etc. I'll keep ya posted! :)

  9. Careful with soy as I have heard it can cause overloads of estrogen which is birth control. But, also those who have low estrogen claim it helps with ovulation too. So, do some research on it will you. AND, I have news! Read my blog!
